BIAFRA

The Republic of Biafra was a State secessionist located in the south-eastern part of Nigeria, rich of oil reserve. The name Biafra comes from bay located at the south, on the Atlantic coast. The republic existed of May 30, 1967 to January 16, 1970 (capitulation on January 12).
